More placements. More contractors. More complexity. But behind the scenes, most agencies are still running on spreadsheets, reactive reporting, and a founder doing finances at 11pm.
The instinct is to hire a Finance Director. But a full-time FD costs £80K–£150K before bonuses, benefits, and the team underneath them. Most agencies don't need that yet. They need FD-level thinking, applied at the right intensity for where they actually are.
“I can’t recommend Search Accountancy strongly enough. Whilst they came recommended to us, we have been blown away by the way they have dealt with our extremely complicated onboarding. We were transitioning from having an internal finance team, to outsourcing for cost and efficiency improvements.”

"As a new business trying to focus on sales, Search have been amazing at supporting all of our back office and accounting functions. I can't imagine how much we'd have struggled if we didn't have Search. They're a really friendly and helpful bunch of people and we very much appreciate their support.
